FIA LDC Past Papers

Post Past Papers122 questionsPage 1/13

Lower Division Clerk (LDC) is the most junior clerical post in this bank. This page holds 122 published questions from two papers held on 14 and 15 December 2021. The 15 December paper is complete at 100 questions; the 14 December paper is a partial transcription of 22.

The LDC paper is a general-knowledge screening test with a slight lean towards Islamic Studies, which is the largest subject here, followed by Pakistan Studies, Geography and Computer Science. Unusually for FIA papers, there is very little English: only four questions in the set. Instead the paper tests basic computing and MS Office, reflecting the clerical nature of the job. A block of Religious Studies questions, covering comparative religion rather than Islamic doctrine, also appears. The level is matric. Candidates who find the Inspector or Sub Inspector papers daunting will find this one a more comfortable place to start, and the complete 15 December paper makes a good first full mock.

FIA LDC Past Papers: common questions

Is the LDC paper easier than the UDC paper?

Slightly. Both are matric-level screening tests with a similar subject mix, but the LDC paper in this bank has almost no English and more basic computing and MS Office questions. The difference is more about emphasis than difficulty, and candidates for either post benefit from practising both.

What computing questions does the LDC paper ask?

General awareness: what common abbreviations stand for, the parts of a computer, keyboard shortcuts, and MS Word and Excel basics such as formatting and saving. There is no programming or networking. The MS Office bank on this site collects the same kind of question in one place.

Is the 14 December 2021 paper complete?

No. Twenty-two questions from it have been published so far. The 15 December paper is complete at 100. Further questions from the 14 December paper will be added after they have been sourced and reviewed by a validator, so check back if you are sitting an LDC test.
