FIA Assistant Director Investigation Past Papers

Post Past Papers180 questionsPage 18/18

Assistant Director Investigation is an officer-grade post advertised separately from the general Assistant Director cadre, and its written test was held on 24 July 2022 in two batches. This page holds 180 published questions from those two papers. The distinguishing feature of this test is that a substantial share of it is about the agency itself: 27 questions on the FIA Act and another eleven on Pakistan and FIA knowledge, covering the agency's history, structure, wings and legal powers.

The remainder is General Knowledge (the largest subject, at 60 questions), English Language at the graduate level, Mathematics and a General Science block. There is no separate Islamic Studies or Pakistan Studies section in these papers, which sets them apart from every other FIA post here. Four model papers from the 2019 cycle are in preparation and will be added once reviewed. If you are applying for this post, the FIA Act questions are the highest-value practice on the site, because they are tested nowhere else at this density.

This matches option C, which correctly represents 33 1/3%. Options A and B represent 33.25% and 33.5% respectively, which are incorrect. Therefore, the correct answer is option C.
