What is the oldest barrage in Pakistan?
Explanation and memory cue
The oldest barrage in Pakistan is the Sukkur Barrage, originally known as Lloyd Barrage. It was constructed during the British Raj from 1923 to 1932 on the Indus River near Sukkur in Sindh. It is the earliest barrage among the options listed and remains a key structure for irrigation and flood control in Pakistan. Kotri Barrage, completed in 1955, is much newer compared to Sukkur Barrage.
